Located in the Highlands, Killin

Killin near Loch Tay is the location of our beautifully restored self catering cottage, once a croft cottage in Scottish Highlands. There are many captivating places to visit within the surrounding countryside. We have listed just a few below, all with their own character and charm.

Ben Lawers

Ben Lawers is the 10th highest Munro, often described as the gateway to the Munros, of which there are seven relatively close to each other, it is home to areas of arctic-alpine plants and is a National Nature Reserve.

Home to the River Dochart and the picturesque Falls of Dochart (pictured), Killin (or Cill Fhinn in Gaelic) is a popular tourist attraction. At some points of the year, the nearby 19th Century Moirlanich Longhouse can be visited.

Kenmore is found at the point where Loch Tay becomes the River Tay and travels eastward. It was firstly named Balloch when it came into being in the 1500’s.
